Searches on Saturday the 4th of May in relation to the murder of Adrian Donohoe, Dundalk, 25th Jan 2013

Gardai in Dundalk are carrying out planned searches at Faughart, Dundalk, County Louth this morning as part of the ongoing investigation into the murder of Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe at Lordship Credit Union on the 25th January 2013.

Local detectives backed up by members of the Divisional Search Team, the Regional Support Unit, Garda Stolen Motor Vehicle Investigation Unit (National Bureau of Criminal Investigation) and the Divisional Scenes of Crime Unit are involved.
 
Gardai wish to renew their appeal to members of the public to come forward with any information they may have in relation to the murder of D/Garda Donohoe as this investigation is active and ongoing.
