Investigation in to Sexual Assaults in Waterford - Arrest

Gardai investigating a number of complaints of sexual assault in the Waterford area which occurred circa 1980s have arrested a male in his 60's this morning in Waterford City.

He is currently detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Waterford Garda Station.
