Gardaí at Ballyshannon, Co Donegal are investigating a two vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Brenter (N56), Dunkineely, Co Donegal at approximately 10.45pm last night (25/5/13)
A van and a car were in collision at the above location resulting in the death of the 30 year old male driver of the van. The 21 year old male driver of the car (only occupant) was injured (injuries not believed to be serious)
The deceased was removed to Letterkenny General Hospital where a post mortem examination will take place today.
The road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and diversions are in place.
