Gardaí at Rathangan are investigating a serious road traffic collision which occurred at Ellistown, Rathangan at approximately 9.30pm on Tuesday 7th May 2013.
A 30 year old male motorcyclist was seriously injured when his motorcycle was in collision with a van at the above location. He was removed to Naas General Hospital and subsequently transferred to Tallaght ICU where he was pronounced dead this afternoon (9/5/13).
The road was closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
