Fatal road traffic collision at Enniscorthy on the 11/5/13

Gardai at are appealing for witnesses to a fatal traffic collision in Enniscorthy on Saturday 11th May 2013.

At approximately 7.15 p.m. an 8-year-old boy was seriously injured when he was struck by a car (SUV) in the car park of Enniscorthy Rugby Club.  He was taken by Ambulance to Wexford General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The scene of the incident remains preserved for a technical examination which will be completed later today (12/5/2013).
