Discovery of human skeletal remains in Limerick City on the 7/5/13

Gardai in Limerick are at the scene of the discovery of human skeletal remains on the Shannon Estuary just off the Condell Road, Limerick City today the 7th May 2013.

The remains were discovered around 1pm today. The remains were found in a nature reserve on the Shannon Estuary. The scene has been sealed off for a technical examination. At this early stage foul play is not suspected however investigations are continuing and Gardai are reviewing all missing persons files for the area.
