Arrests David McCreevey murder investigation

Two males aged in their 30s have been arrested by gardai investigating the murder of David Mc Creevey in Tallaght on the 1st of February 2002.

Both men were arrested during an operation this morning (13/5/2013) by Detectives from Tallaght Garda Station and members of the Special Detective Unit. The men are currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act, 1939, at Tallaght Garda Station.

David Mc Creevey was shot dead outside a neighbour’s house at Belgard Heights in Tallaght on the 1st of February 2002.

The investigation is ongoing and further updates will follow.
