Shooting incident Castlebar, Co. Mayo 14th March 2013

Gardai are investigating the circumstances of a shooting incident in Castlebar on the 14th March 2013.

At approximately 2030 hours a male aged in his 30s was shot during an incident at a house in the Castlegrove area of Castlebar.

He was removed to Mayo General Hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

The scene is preserved pending a technical and forensic examination and Gardai are appealing for information.
