Shooting incident at Gormanstown, Co. Meath on the 6/3/13

Gardai are investigating all of the circumstances surrounding a shooting incident at Gormanstown, Co. Meath, on the 6th March 2013.

The scene is preserved pending a full forensic and technical examination.


An incident room has been established at Laytown Garda Station and investigating gardai are appealing for witnesses.


Gardai have arrested a number of males. They are currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act, 1939 at a number of north Dublin Garda Stations.
