Gardai in Clonakilty are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on Clonakilty to Rosscarbery Road (N71) on the 22th March 2013.
The collision occurred at approximately 10.20am on the Clonakilty to Rosscarbery Rd approx 1 mile outside Rosscarbery between a truck and a car. The female driver (65yrs sole occupant) was fatally injured in the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the lorry was uninjured.
The road is currently closed pending completion of an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and diversions are in place.
