Aggravated burglary at a house in Caherlistrane Co Galway on the 22nd March 2013

Gardai in Tuam are investigating an aggravated burglary at a house in Caherlistrane, Co Galway on the 22nd March 2013.

The incident occurred at approximately 9.30pm when four males entered a house near the Church in Caherlistrane. They tied up the sole occupant a male in his 60's. All four males were  wearing balaclavas and gloves, one was carrying a crow bar.
 
Male 1 wearing a blue tracksuit top with faded white writing on the front and jeans, male 2 and 3 were wearing dark tops with jeans and male 4 was tall and thin wearing all black clothes.
 
A small sum of cash was taken, the occupant of the house was uninjured but shaken.
 
Gardai are appealing to witnesses who may have been in the vicinity of Caherlistrane between 9pm and midnight on the 22nd March and saw any unusual or suspicious activity or anyone who may have any information to contact them in Tuam on 093 70840, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
