Witness appeal - Fatal road traffic collision at Oldcastle, Meath on the 20/6/13

The road has re-opened to traffic.

Gardaí in Kells investigating the fatal road traffic collision at Millbrook Road, Oldcastle, Co. Meath at 5.10 pm on 20th June 2013 are appealing for witnesses  or anyone who may have been on  Millbrook Road, Oldcastle at approximately 5.10pm  to contact Kells Garda station on 046 9280820, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.

Gardaí are investigating a fatal road traffic collision at Millbrook Road, Oldcastle, Co. Meath which happened at 5.10 pm on 20th June 2013.

A motorcyclist in his early 50's was killed following a collision with a car. The female driver of the car was uninjured. The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body had been taken to Our Lady’s Hospital Navan where a post mortem examination will be carried out tomorrow.


The road at the scene is closed to facilitate an examination by Garda forensic collision investigators.
