Drug seizure Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, 7th June 2013

As part of an ongoing investigation into organised criminal activity and drug trafficking in the Tipperary area Gardai carried out a search operation this afternoon, 7th June 2013.

During the operation Gardai searched a wooded area at Carraigeen near Clonmel and discovered Cannabis Resin with an estimated street value of €70,000 (pending analysis) along with Cocaine with a street value of €3,000 (pending analysis).

No one was arrested during today’s operation and enquiries are continuing.
