Gardaí in Roscommon arrested four people yesterday 27th June 2013 in relation to the false imprisonment of a man (mid 20s) on 25th June 2013 in Strokestown, Co. Roscommon.
As part of a planned operation, Gardaí searched two houses in the Roscommon area yesterday morning 27/6/2013 and arrested three people (a female & two males - all in late teens). They were taken to Roscommon Garda Station and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
A third male (early 20s) was arrested by Gardaí yesterday afternoon 27/6/2013 at a house in Strokestown. He was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
The female and two of the males have since been released without charge.
One of the males (late teens) is due to appear before Castlerea District Court this morning 28th June 2013 at approximately 11am this morning 28/6/2013.
