Assault in Dun Laoghaire on the 7/6/13 - man released from custody

Gardai investigating a serious assault in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, on the 7th of June 2013 have released a man in his 20s from custody. A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

At approximately 23.30 hours a 41-year-old male was stabbed and seriously injured during an incident in an apartment at Clarence St.. He was taken by ambulance to St. Vincent’s Hospital. (The condition of the injured male is believed to be stable.)

A male aged in his 20s was arrested by Gardai at the scene and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at Dun Laoghaire Garda .
