Fatal road traffic collision in Co. Cavan on the 29/7/13

One man in his early 20s has died and two men are in a serious condition in hospital following an overnight traffic collision in Co.Cavan.

The two car crash occurred at Stradone, Co. Cavan at 12.30am on the 29th July 2013. A man in his 20s, the driver of one of the cars, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other men where taken by ambulance to Cavan General Hospital. They were the driver of the other car, a man in his 20's and passenger in his late teens.

The collision is under investigation and the road at the scene is closed to facilitate forensic collision investigators.
