Fatal road traffic Collision at Knocknabehy, Co. Cork on the 13/7/13

Gardaí at Blarney are investigating a fatal road traffic collision involving a single vehicle which occurred at Knocknabehy, County Cork on the N20 Cork - Mallow road, on Saturday, 13th July 2013 at approximately 4.10pm.

All four occupants of the vehicle, 2 two adults, (one male one female) and two children, both female, were conveyed to Cork University Hospital where one of the children, 4 years, was pronounced dead. The injuries to the two adults were deemed not serious.


The second child remains in hospital where her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
