Gardai are investigating the circumstances of a shooting incident in Saggart, Co Dublin on the 19th January 2013.
At approximately 12.15 a.m. a 30-year-old male was discovered at Fairgreen, Saggart, Co. Dublin with a gun-shot wound to his leg. He was taken by ambulance to Tallaght Hospital with injuries not thought to be life threatening.
A male aged in his 30s was arrested a short time later by investigating Gardai. He is currently detained under section 30 of the Offences against the State Act,1939, at Lucan Garda Station.
The scene is preserved pending a full technical examination and enquiries are ongoing.
