Renewed Witness Appeal - Fatal road traffic collision on the M2 on the 4th Jan 2013

Gardai in Ashbourne investigating the fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the 4/01/13 involving a motorcyclist on the M2 wish to renew their appeal for witnesses.

Gardai would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this collision at approximately 7.30pm travelling Northbound on the M2 between the St. Margarets exit and the Ashbourne/Ratoath exit.

Witnesses are asked to contact the Gardai in Ashbourne on 01-8010600, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

The deceased has been named as Bartosz Borowiec, 26 years old, from Ashbourne.

Gardai in Ashbourne are investigating a fatal  road traffic collision on the M2 Ashbourne on the 4th Jan 2013 between a motor cyclist and a vehicle.

The collision occurred at approximately 7.30pm on the M2 northbound between the St Margarets and the Ashbourne/Ratoath exits. A motorcyclist was fatally injured in the collision. No one else was injured.

The motorway is closed in both directions for a Forensic collision examination and diversions are in place.
