Gardaí at Maynooth are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Graiguesallagh, Maynooth, Co Kildare at approximately 3pm yesterday afternoon (9/1/13).
A 59 year old a male employee of Kildare County Council was working at roadwork’s at above location when he was hit by a car. He was taken to Naas General Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
A technical examination of the scene was carried out by Garda forensic collision investigators. The Health and Safety Authority have been informed.
