Witness Appeal to Cork Hit & Run on the 4/8/13

Gardai in Cork City are trying to trace the driver of small red car with the partial registration 00 C, which was involved in a collision with a 3yr old girl Carberry Grove, Knocknaheeney, Cork City on Sunday evening 4th August 2013 between 8.40 and 9.40pm.

The car stopped momentarily before driving away towards Courtown Drive and onwards to Kilmore Road. The girl was taken to Cork University Hospital with minor injuries and has since been released.


The driver of the car is described as in his 50s, with grey hair, grey beard wearing glasses. He was wearing a muscle top and jeans.


Anyone with information about this accident or who was in the Carberry Grove/Courtown Drive/Kilmore Road areas between 8.30pm and 10.00pm on Sunday 4th August is asked to contact Gurranabraher Garda station on 021 4946200.
