Gardai in Ennis are appealing for information following an incident at a housing estate in Ennis, Co. Clare, on the 4th April 2013.
At approximately 6.30 p.m. a man aged in his 50s sustained a serious head injury during a dispute involving a number of males at the Hermitage housing estate. He was taken by Ambulance to Limerick Regional Hospital where his condition is described as critical.
A technical examination of the scene has been carried out and investigating gardai are appealing for witnesses.
