Shooting in Athy, Kildare on the 6/4/13

Gardaí in Athy are investigating a shooting which occurred at Coneyboro, Athy, Co. Kildare at approximately 8.45pm this evening 6th April 2013.

A man in his early 20s was taken to Naas General Hospital, where he is believed to be a serious condition.

A scene has been sealed off pending a full technical examination.
