Gardai in Killarney are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred at Kilcummin Cross on the Tralee to Killarney road at approximately 9.45pm on the 31.03.13.
A male cyclist in his late 60’s was fatally injured when he was struck by a mini bus. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body removed to Tralee General Hospital. The driver and sole occupant of the mini bus was uninjured.
The main Tralee - Killarney road is closed in both directions at Kilcummin Cross to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and diversions are in place.
