Drug seizure at Inchicore, Dublin on the 23/4/13

Gardai in Kilmainham discovered a large number of cannabis plants in a house at Tyrconnell Street, Inchicore, Dublin 8 at approximately 1.50am this morning, the 23rd April 2013.

The discovery was made when attending a fire at an adjacent house on the street. Upon entry to the adjacent house, Gardai discovered an elaborate cultivation site, with a large number of cannabis plants (with a street value of approx €80,000 pending analysis) and cultivation equipment.

There are currently no arrests in relation to the investigation. The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.
