Witness appeal - Serious road traffic collision in Dromcondra, Dublin on the 17/9/12

Gardai from Santry investigating a serious road traffic collision at the junction of Drumcondra Road and Griffith Avenue on the 17th September 2012 at approx 6.30am are appealing for witnesses to contact them in Santry on 01 6664000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.

 
 
The motor cyclist (41yrs) is in a serious condition in Beaumont Hospital and the driver of the car a male (68yrs) was taken to the Mater Hospital where his injuries are described as not life threatening.

Gardai from Santry are investigating a serious road traffic collision at the junction of Drumcondra and Griffith Avenue on the 17th September 2012.

The collision involving a motor cyclist and another vehicle occurred at approx 6.45am.  The road is totally blocked in all directions and motorists are asked to avoid the area and use alternative routes.
