A man in his 40’s is expected to appear before Kilkenny District Court this morning (18/9/12) charged in connection with this investigation.
The woman in her 30’s arrested on the 16/9/12 was released yesterday morning (17/9/12) A file will be prepared for the information of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

On the evening of the 16/9/12 Gardai from Carlow carried out a planned search of a house in the New Oak Estate in Carlow and a house in Pollerton, Carlow. Cocaine with an estimated street value of up to €120,000 (pending analysis) was recovered and a woman in her 30’s and a male in his 40’s were arrested.
They are both currently detained under the provisions of Section 2 of The Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Carlow Garda Station.
