Suspicious death in Prussia Street, Dublin 7 on the 8/9/12

Gardai in the Bridewell are investigating a murder after the discovery of a body (male) in a dwelling on Prussia Street, Dublin 7 on the 8th September 2012.

As a result of a call received Gardai in the Bridewell went to a house on Prussia Street at approximately 2.50pm today, the 8th September 2012.  There they discovered the deceased.  The office of the State Pathologist was notified.  The area was sealed off for a technical examination.

The assistant State Pathologist Dr Curtis confirmed the body to be that of a male.  The deceased is being moved to the State mortuary where a post mortem is due to be carried out tomorrow the 9th September 2012.
 
Gardai in the Bridewell also arrested a male in his 30's in connection with the murder and he is being detained under the provisions of section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
