Gardai are appealing for witnesses following a collision on the R439 at Birr, Co Offaly, on the 1st September 2012.
At approximately 2.30pm a man aged in his 30's was seriously injured when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a bus on the R439 at Ballaghanoher, Birr. He was taken by ambulance to the Mid-land Regional Hospital Tullamore.
The road is closed for a technical examination, forensic collision investigators have been requested to attend the scene and diversions are in place.
