Firearm recovered and a 25 year old man arrested on the 6/9/12

At approximately 10.15pm last night (6/9/12) Gardaí from Rathfarnham attempted to stop a car at Daltree Place, Ballycullen Dublin 24, during the course of this operation the Audi car rammed the Garda Patrol car.

The three occupants fled from the Audi and were pursued by Gardaí. 
 

A 25 year old man was arrested a short time later and a firearm recovered.  He is currently detained at Rathfarmham Garda Station under Section 30 – 0ffences Against the State Act 1939.     
 

Investigations are continuing.
