Firearm discharged at Donaghmede, Dublin on the 8/9/12

Gardai are investigating an incident which occurred at a housing estate in Donaghmede on Saturday, the 8th September 2012.

At approximately 930am a number of shots were fired into the air as a coffin was being removed from a house at Grange Abbey Drive. There was nobody injured, or property damaged during the incident.

An examination of the scene has taken place and incident room has been established at Clontarf Garda Station. No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
