Traffic Alert M6 - 4/5/12

The M6 is currently closed to east bound traffic (Galway towards Kinnegad) between Junction 5 (Kilbeggan) and Junction 4 (Tyrrellspass) due to a serious collision.

Gardai are advising motorists travelling east to divert at Junction 6 (Moate) and rejoin the motorway at Junction 4 (Tyrrellspass).

Gardai and emergency services are at the scene and diversions are in place.
