Single vehicle fatal road traffic collision at Ballinasloe, Galway on the 13/5/12

Gardai from Ballinasloe are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occured at Kilmalaw, Kilconnell, Ballinasloe at approximately 2.40p.m. this afternoon Sunday, the 13th May 2012.

The collision involved a male pedal cyclist in his early 50's who died at scene and has been removed to Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe.

The road is closed pending a Garda Forensic Examination and diversions are in place.
