Fatal road traffic collision at Crossdoney, Cavan on the 13/5/12

Gardai in Cavan are appealing for witnesses following a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision at Drummora, Crossdoney, Co Cavan.

At approximately 9.20am this morning, an articulated lorry left the roadway on the R199 Crossdoney to Killeshandra Road and collided with a ditch. The driver a man in his late 30s was pronounced dead at the scene.

Forensic collision investigators are in attendance, the road is closed and traffic diversions are in place.
