Fatal House Fire in Tralee, Kerry on the 12/5/12

Gardaí are investigating a fatal house fire at Killeen Heights in Tralee, Co. Kerry which happened at about 2.20 am on the 12th May 2012.

A man aged 30 years and his 5 year old daughter were fatally injured.

Their bodies were removed from the scene to Kerry General Hospital where a post mortem examination will be carried out later today.  A woman in her late 20's escaped from the house.

The scene of the fire will be forensically examined later today but early indication are that the fire was accidental.
