Court Appearance - Kilkenny Drug Seizure

A man in his 20's is expected to appear at Nenagh District Court at 12 pm on the 12th May 2012 charged in relation to a drug seizure at Urlingford, Co.Kilkenny on the 10th May.

At approximately 5pm on the 10th Gardai carried out a searched at a residential house in Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny.

During the search a cannabis ‘Grow House’ was discovered. Cannabis plants with an estimated street value of €320,000 (subject to analysis) were seized.  A man aged in his 20's was arrested at the scene and detained at Kilkenny Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
