Gardai from Kevin St are investigating the circumstances of a suspicious death after the discovery of a male (between 30 to 40 yrs, he is still unidentified) on Camden St at approx 4.30am this morning the 24th June 2012.
He received medical attention at scene, was taken to St James Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The scene is being preserve for a technical examination and investigations are on going.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses who may have been on the Camden St area between 3.45am and 4.30am, particularly around the pedestrian lights on Camden St and may have witnessed an incident are asked to contact the Gardai in Kevin St on 01 6669400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
