Fatal road traffic collision at Ballymacormack, Longford on the 22/6/12

Gardai in Longford are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 00.30hrs on Friday, the June 2012 at Craane, Ballymacormack, Longford.

It was on the R397, which is the Longford to Kenagh Road. 
 

Two male passenger in their 20’s were fatally injured when the car they were travelling in lost control and hit a ditch.  No other vehicle was involved.  They were pronounced dead at the scene.  The male driver and another passenger, a female, both in their 20’s, were taken to Mullingar Hospital where the female is described as being in a serious condition. 
 

The road has been closed pending completion of an examination by Garda Forensic collision investigators and local diversions are in place.
