Serious road traffic collision in Ennis, Clare - one male deceased on the 24/2/12

Gardai in Ennis are investigating the circumstances of a serious single vehicle road traffic collision on the Ennis to Tulla Road, Co Clare on the 24th February 2012.

One of the males (30yrs) was pronounced dead late last night the 24th February 2012 in hospital.  The other male (23yrs) remains in a serious condition at the Mid-Western Hospital Limerick. 

 
The road remains closed and diversions are in place.

 
Witnesses or anyone who may have been on the Ennis to Tulla Road between 7.30pm and 8pm on the 24th February are asked to contact the Gardai in Ennis on 065 6848100, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

Gardai in Ennis, Co Clare are investigating the circumstances of a serious single vehicle road traffic collision on the Ennis to Tulla Rd, Co Clare on the 24th February 2012.
 
The collision occured approx 3 miles from Ennis at Clooney Church at 7.50pm on the 24th Feb. The two occupants, two males were seriously injured in the collision and were taken to the Mid-Western Hospital in Limerick.
 
The road remains closed to facilitate a Forensic collision examination, diversions are in place.
