Fatal road traffic collision at Leenane, Galway on the 10/2/12

Gardaí at Clifden are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 10.45pm last night, Friday 10th February 2012.

An SUV travelling on the N59 Clifden to Westport Road lost control at Doire Na Cloiche resulting in the 51 year old male driver and sole occupant being fatally injured.


The road was partially closed to facilitate a forensic examination but it has since re-opened.
