Fatal road traffic collision at Dunmore, Galway on the 5/2/12

Gardaí in Tuam are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Killavoher, Dunmore, Co. Galway at approximately 5.15pm yesterday (5/2/12).

A 36 year old male motorcyclist was fatally injured when his motorcycle struck a bridge at Killavoher. His body has been removed to University Hospital Galway.

The road remains closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
