Drugs seizure and arrests at Castledermot, Kildare on the 16/2/12

Gardaí from Athy and Carlow have arrested three men and seized a quantity of Ecstasy tablets with an estimated street value of €350,000 (Subject to analysis) following a search operation.

The search took place at approximately 6.30pm yesterday evening (16/2/12) in an open area at Maganey, Castledermot, Co Kildare.  Three man were arrested at the scene (25yrs / 27yrs / 31yrs).  They are currently detained at Naas, Newbridge and Kildare Garda Stations under Section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996. 
 

Investigations are continuing.
