Dissident Arrests 100212 - Cork

As a result of a Garda operation targeting dissident republican activity Gardaí at Cobh yesterday evening, Friday 10th February 2012, recovered a firearm at a wooded area at Leamlara, Watergrasshill.

Two men aged 32 and 45 years were arrested nearby.

They are being detained under section 30 of the Offences against the State Act at Cobh Garda Station.
