Discovery of firearm and ammunition in Bray on the 2/2/12 – Court Appearance

A male in his 30’s will appear at a special sitting of Bray District Court this evening (4.02.12) at 6.30pm charged in relation to the discovery of a firearm and ammunition on the 2/2/12.

At 3.30 pm on the 2nd of February 2012 Gardai stopped a car at Sidmonton Square, Bray. A search of the car uncovered a firearm and quantity of ammunition. The driver of the car, a man in his 30s, was arrested and detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act at Bray Garda Station.
