Witness appeal - Fatal collision Cork 18th December 2012

Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Bishopstown, Cork, on Tuesday, 18th of December 2012.

At approximately 5pm a female pedestrian (aged 82 years) was struck by a car on Melbourne Road. She was taken by ambulance to Cork University Hospital where she was pronounced dead yesterday evening (21/12/2012). The driver of the car was uninjured.
