Drugs Seizure and arrests in Cork City on the 10/12/12

As part of an operation targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Cork City area

Gardaí from the Divisional Drugs Unit assisted by local District units attached to Anglesea Street Garda Station have seized heroin with an estimated street value of €150,000 (Subject to analysis) 
 

The seizure was made today (10/12/12) at approximately 2pm in Lower Kileens, Gurranabraher.  A sawn off shotgun was also seized together with a quantity of ammunition during this operation. Three men have been arrested (two aged 26 and a third aged 36) and are detained under Section 2 – Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Mayfield and the Bridewell Garda Stations. 
 

Investigations are continuing.
