As a part of an ongoing operation Gardai attached to the H District Drugs Unit based at Ballymun Garda station searched a house at Killsallaghan, Swords, Co. Dublin on the 2nd December 2012.
During the course of the search Gardai discovered a sophisticated cultivation system for growing cannabis plants they also discovered in the region of 480 cannabis plants with an approximate street value of €380,000(subject to analysis).
Three males(in their 30's) were arrested and are being detained under the provisions of section 2 of the Criminal Justice(Drug Trafficking) Act 2006 as amended at Ballymun Garda station.
