Gardai in Blanchardstown are investigating a cash-in-transit robbery which occured at approximately 12.45pm this afternoon 3rd December 2012 outside a supermarket in Carpenterstown, Dublin 15.
Two men, one believed to have been armed with a handgun, approached the CIT staff member and took a cash box (with undisclosed amount of cash contained within).
The two suspects made their getaway in a silver VW Golf (possibly a 1999 model - no reg available).
No shots fired were fired in the incident and there were no injuries.
