Gardaí at Naas Co Kildare are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of a 47 year old woman in a house at Lacken View, Naas on Sunday 19th August 2012.
A Post Mortem has been concluded at Naas General Hospital by the State Pathologist Professor Marie Cassidy and the results have been made known to investigating Gardaí. For operational reasons we are not disclosing details at this time.
A 47 year old man was arrested today (21/8/12) in relation to this incident and is currently detained at Naas Garda Station under Section 4 Criminal Justice Act 1984.
