Fatal road traffic collision in Fintown, Donegal on the 6/8/12

Gardai in Donegal are investigating the circumstances of a single vehicle fatal collision at Fintown, Co Donegal, on the 6th August 2012.

At approximately 0015 hours a man aged in his 70s died when the motor car he was driving veered off the road and into a field at Meenmore, Fintown.

His body was removed by ambulance to Letterkenny Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Forensic collision investigators have been notified and traffic diversions are in place.
